America's Obsession With Celebrities!!!!!!!!!!

I will start by saying Americans in general are pathetic. Seems like they have no life of their own. Sitting around following celebrities and their lives like it's their own. First of all these celebrities could care less about you and your life. Most are too busy with their own and trying to reach into your pockets. Second of all following their lives on twitter or facebook is utterly pathetic. People this week talking about Beyonce's pregnancy and Justin Bieber's "fender bender" at his condo. Why would anyone care if a celebrity is using the batheroom or laying around the house? You see this kind of thing on twitter alot. I have a twitter account but it's only for sports updates and such. No wonder these celebrities get paid more than they should, these people would not be celebrities if it wasn't for teachers. Teachers should get paid alot more than they do, yet Americans need to be "entertained". I know people who are going to come close to killing themselves if the NBA Lockout goes on for a whole season. And others who were going nuts when the NFL locked out it's players. Here's an idea folks: STOP PAYING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO GO TO SPORTING EVENTS!!!!!!!!! Then those greedy owners and somewhat the players will get the message. But if you keep on being suckers and paying to go to these events then those owners will control you also. NFL made seasonticket owners renew their tickets during the lockout. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? My suggestion to you lemmings that follow celebrities, try educating yourself by reading a book? Or going to a museum, or riding a bicycle to get your cardiovascular system going? Get out of the house, and off the computer, and off the X-BOX and getting outdoors? And paying attention to every move an entertainer does is so pathetic on every scale. In conclusion get a life and stop following these celebrities who don't give a care about you. That is my rant for today. God Bless and Peace to the Creatures. Tim.

Why The Hate Against Terrelle Pryor??????????

Terrelle Pryor was drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL Supplemental Draft today by the Oakland Raiders. Congrats to Terrelle!!!! I have been on a couple of blogs: ESPN.COM and FOXSPORTS.COM today. All the negative comments against this kid have been ridiculous. Big time hate and negativity against him, people wanting him to tear his knee up, wanting to see him in jail, etc. And these comments are tame compared to what was really said. I think alot of it is racism, and parts of it pure jealousy and envy big time. Seems like people are mad because he's getting the opportunity to play in the NFL and they are not. These idiots are not smart enough, athletic enough, or too lazy and take it out on the athletes their own frustrations with their pathetic lives. Hence the jerseys with the athletes name on the back, and getting drunk, belligerent at the games. Why not wish the kid well? Why not say I hope you give it your best while in the NFL? Then the coneheads suggesting that black quarterbacks are dumb. And white people wonder why some black folks don't like them? Blogs like these that give these cowardly rednecks a forum to sound off on their racist diatribe. And too many people following these dumb analysts about what they say about athletes. Todd McShay(ESPN DRAFT "guru") said Pryor would be going in the 6th or 7th round. Wow great guy to listen to huh? I think he's a racist and jealous and envious of these black quarterbacks. He was the idiot that said Cameron Newton should be a tight end or wide receiver. He tried to get to the NFL when he was a quarterback at Richmond. I for one wish Terrelle Pryor well and hope he tears it up in the league whatever position he plays. Welcome to the NFL Terrelle Pryor. This is my rant for today. Peace to the creatures and God Bless.

Jereme Richmond Saga The Latest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://chicago.sbnation.com/illinois-fighting-illini/2011/8/11/2356900/strange-saga-of-jereme-richmond-takes-a-sad-twist. This is one of many stories the past few days about the downfall of Jereme Richmond. I have out of town for two weeks and just heard the story late Wednesday night. I was a little surprised but not alot that something like this could happen. The disappointment of not getting drafted, not getting out of Waukegan and signing a contract overseas ASAP, and also trying to figure out what he was going to do next. Hanging around with troublemakers in a community where you was a superstar are recipes for trouble. I listened to a podcast on ESPNChicago.com with Steve Bardo talking about Jereme Richmond. One thing I do find disturbing about Illinois is they diagnosed him with bi-polar disorder. If that was the case why didn't they try and help him control it? It is an easily treatable ailment with the right medicine. Seems to me like the University of Illinois didn't do enough to help him with this condition. It explains alot the fights in high school and at the University of Illinois. Yes most of the fault is on Jereme granted, but seems like people did not do enough to help him either. I just hope for his sake that he can get the help he needs now, (maybe anger management) that could control the bi-polar disorder he was diagnosed with and be able to put his basketball talents to good use.  Also many people in the media and others wanted to see this kid fail. Why? Because you didn't like his attitude, or he wasn't friendly with some of the members of the media? Yes Jereme has to face the music for what he did this week, but I for one hope he gets it together and can get some assistance from the legal system now that he's officially in it. This could someday be a beneficial thing for his life, not necessarily is basketball career. If he can get his life together those two will go hand in hand. This is my rant for today. God Bless everyone and Peace to the Creatures.

Is Simeon(Chicago) 2011-2012 Possibly Best of All-Time in Illinois

Chicago Simeon has won 4 of the last 6 State Titles in Illinois. They have won back to back 4A State Titles and will be looking for a 3rd straight title next winter. With the transfer of Jaylen Tate from DeLaSalle to Simeon this summer their lineup is loaded. First off you have to start with the coach Robert Smith. He has shown he can get the most talented players to play "The Simeon Way" and sublime their egos for the team goals. Simeon teams are not your typical Chicago Public League Power. They are not just a pressing and running team, they can also play half court, patient offense. They have a suffocating defense and are again 10 deep. Start with Jabari Parker who is considered not only the top player in the Class of 2013, but possibly the best player regardless of class. He's a 6 foot 8 230 pound jack of all trades player who can play any position. Then there's Steve Taylor 6 foot 8 220 pound forward in the Class of 2012 who has commited to Marquette. Jelani Neely 6 foot point guard who's recovering from a torn ACL injury. At the time of the injury he was playing his best basketball in June. He's a division one prospect, then there's Tate the transfer who's a 6 foot 3 pure point guard and another major division one prospect. The other starting spot will go to Kendrick Nunn a 6 foot 2 shooting guard who's a phenominal athlete who showed he's a combo guard this past summer and a knock down shooter. He's also a Class of 2013 recruit who recently gave a "soft" verbal to Texas A&M. Kendall Pollard a 6 foot 6 forward who's a Class of 2013 player who will probably be the best sixth man in the state. Also Lawrence Briggs 5 foot 10 point guard Class of 2013 and Dennis Williams an incoming freshman Class of 2015 will contribute off the bench. They are not as deep as Whitney Young but Simeon is better coached and more balanced. They have a chance to be one of the best high school basketball teams of all time in the State of Illinois. They also will be ranked among the top five teams in the country. It will be interesting if Simeon plays a National Schedule this year?
