Kentucky vs Louisville Game 2013 Post Mortem!!!!!!
Hi folks, a number of things about this game stood out to me: 1) Kentucky won this game without the services of Julius Randle who was bothered by severe cramps( drink more water and less gatorade), 2) The Harrison twins did a good job of handling Louisville's pressure defense, to me they showed why they are the best backcourt in the country even though Andrew needs to do a better job at the free throw line, 3) James Young played very well on both ends even though he did not shoot well, he hit the boards, hustled down the floor and made winning plays, 4) Julius Randle dominated for one half, Louisville had no one to handle him at all with his 17 first half points, he made Montrezl Harrell look like an ordinary player out there, 5) Louisville depends too much on their guard play, this is hard to say because college is about the guards, but you need at least a little production from your front line, 6) Kentucky is still not a National Title team until they improve their free throw shooting,16 for 30 will not cut it in the NCAA Tourney, get in the gym and practice your free throws, pronto 7) Kentucky hammered Louisville on the glass by the tune of 44-36 a plus 8 this is what the Cats have been doing all year to opponents, 8) Slick Rick has the nerve to complain about the officials when Russ Smith got away with walking, throwing his body into people who were standing still and getting a foul call, Hancock pushing off and hooking while dribbling the ball and getting the call and finally 9) Just face it Cards fans Kentucky is better than you right now and will be better come tourney time, this is not your season, I said it consistently your problem is lack of frontline play and it will come to bite you all season long. This is my rant, God Bless and Peace To The Creatures. Oh and PS Slick Rick has totally messed up Wayne Blackshear's Game, he looks lost out there, this is a former Chicago Public League Player Of The Year (over Anthony Davis mind you), smh. Oh and no sighting of Kevin Ware, oh where oh where could Kevin be? LOL!!!!!!!

AJ McCarron Being Undersold As An NFL Draft Prospect!!!!!
This is about AJ McCarron who is a 6'4" 214 pound 5th year senior Quarterback who plays at the University Of Alabama. He's won 2 National Titles on the field and 1 as a redshirt which is a total of 3. His statistics for this year are 67.6% completion percentage,26 touchdowns, 5 interceptions 165.9 QB Rating. He's been called a game manager but has made great plays in big games (LSU-2012, Texas A&M 2013, Auburn 2013) to name a few. Maxwell Award and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award winner, a college graduate, a winner in every sense of the word. He has the size, arm, skill level, intelligence, and moxie for a Quarterback. So why isn't he higher on the NFL Scouts radar? I think some of this is because he has been called a game manager as a negative. Thing is the best Quarterbacks in the NFL are.....guess what.....GAME MANAGERS!!!!!! Manning,Brady,Brees, Flacco, all are game managers. You would think this would be a good thing for NFL Scouts to hang their head on. AJ McCarron does not have a first round grade right now, it's a second or third round grade. I haven't been able to figure this out for the past two years, what is the problem? I know college success does not always equal to NFL success, also Alabama's track record lately of Quarterbacks in the NFL hasn't been rosy. I think McCarron is a different animal here, I say he will be the sleeper of the NFL Draft, which is funny to say for a championship Quarterback. I myself like one scout thinks AJ is similar to Tom Brady. Now I am not saying he will be as great as Brady, but remember Tom Brady was a SIXTH ROUND DRAFT PICK OUT OF MICHIGAN!!!!!! So this is not as farfetched as it seems. A lot about his draft status will be decided at the NFL Combine (if he throws there), the Senior Bowl or Alabama's Pro Day. It will be how he spins the ball on these big days before the NFL Front Office personnel. I for one will look forward to seeing him on Sunday's in the future, and hope he doesn't go to a team with inferior lineman that get him killed. Best of success AJ McCarron, no matter how your NFL Career turns out, you have a great future in the State Of Alabama. GO BAMA ROLL TIDE in this instance. This is my rant for today, God Bless and Peace To The Creatures.

Will Tyler Ulis Be A McDonald's All-American???
Tyler Ulis of Marian Catholic(Chicago Heights) will sign his Letter Of Intent to the University Of Kentucky next week during the Fall Signing Period. His team will be a contender for the Illinois Class 4A State Title this winter. He will be in the Mr Basketball race along with Jahlil Okafor of Whitney Young(Chicago), Cliff Alexander of Curie (Chicago), and Keita Bates-Diop of University High(Normal). He's 5 foot 8 in a half 150 pound point guard. The question is will he be a McDonald's All-American? It is no doubt an uphill climb for him for a number of reasons. Looking at the National Rankings of players Ulis is ranked #33 by ESPN and Rivals, plus Scout has him #29. So with these rankings he has a chance since 24 players are picked by the McDonald's All-American committee. Tyler Ulis has two big problems, 1) He would be the shortest McDonald's All-American ever, to date the shortest one is Jacque Vaughn of Pasadena,California (Muir) and Kansas University who is 6 foot 1, and 2) Illinois has 3 players ahead of him Nationally on the list, (Okafor,Alexander, and Bates-Diop). Illinois has never had more than 3 McDonald's All-American in a year which was 1998 with Quentin Richardson of Whitney Young(Chicago), Corey Maggette of Fenwick(Oak Park), and Frank Williams of Manual(Peoria). Last season the State of Texas had 5 McDonald's All-Americans but it is such a big state. Now what Tyler Ulis has going for him is he's going to Kentucky which will help him as far as publicity goes. Also his talent for his size is unprecedented in the State of Illinois or anywhere. He's a very good three point shooter, can get where he wants on the court, protects the ball very well, and has great vision to find teammates with on time passes. So he has the talent and the moxie to make history, but will he? I think for him to do it his Marian Catholic team will have to have a special season and Ulis will have to average about 25 points and 8 assists a game to make it happen. I for one have seen him play and believe he can make it happen but this to me will be the most interesting thing to watch this high school season. I would suggest to anyone if you can get out to see Tyler Ulis play I would recommend it as he is entertaining to watch. PS the last short player I saw in high school that could have made McDonald's All-American in this state was Ryan Boatright 6'0" from East Aurora(Aurora) and University of Connecticut. That's it folks, God Bless and Peace To The Creatures, also WELCOME TO BIG BLUE NATION TYLER ULIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's a couple of highlights of Tyler Ulis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97vdK2dhEck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwyQadf1Cew ADDENDUM- JAI LUCAS AT 5'10" WAS THE SHORTEST MCDONALD'S ALL-AMERICAN BUT ULIS WOULD STILL BE THE SHORTEST IF HE MAKES IT!!!!!

Breakdown of Louisville Basketball 2013-2014
This school won the National Title last season, congrats but this is a new year and here's the breakdown, enjoy: STARTERS: POINT GUARD-CHRIS JONES(5'10" JUNIOR)-National Junior College Player Of The Year is slated to replace Peyton Siva, he's quick, very good outside shooter and adequate defender. Biggest question mark is leadership and balancing his scoring mentality with running the team. SHOOTING GUARD-RUSS SMITH(6'0" SENIOR)-Decided to come back to school to improve NBA Draft stock and run some point guard. He will get his chance but will it take away from his scoring aggressiveness? He is a volume shooter with quick hands on the defensive end and blinding quickness. This team will go as Russ goes. SMALL FORWARD- WAYNE BLACKSHEAR(6'5" JUNIOR)- Former McDonald's All-American is finally healthy after shoulder issues his 1st two years, very athletic and good three point shooter. Will have to be more aggressive on the offensive end and has to improve his slashing ability. POWER FORWARD- MONTREZI HARRELL(6'8" SOPHOMORE)-This kid has a lot of potential especially hitting the boards, very explosive, work in progress offensively in the post, offensive game is 10 feet in is powerfully built with lots of upside. Might be the best NBA prospect on the squad. CENTER- STEPHEN VAN TREESE(6'9" SENIOR)-Works hard on the inside, on the boards but limited offensively, his role will be to use his body to keep other teams players off the boards. Will provide veteran leadership to this team. BENCH- LUKE HANCOCK(6'6"SENIOR)- Final Four Most Outstanding Player, knock down three point shooter, leader and pulse of the team. Not great defensively but tries his best on that end. Plays well off other players penetration not so good of the dribble. KEVIN WARE(6'2"JUNIOR)- Has been cleared to practice and play after a gruesome leg injury in Elite 8 game vs Duke. If he gets past some issues from the off season where he was suspended for a time, he will give this team great depth at the guard position. Good at running a team and can hit the 3 pointer if teams back off him. ANTON GILL(6'4 FRESHMAN)-One of the top prep school players, can hit the 3 pointer and slash to the basket, is decent defensively can disrupt with his length. Will help with guarding other shooting guards. TERRY ROZIER(6'1" FRESHMAN)- Explosive scorer who can go off for points in bunches, not a point or a two guard, more of a combo who will give this team scoring off the bench.MANGOK MATHIANG(6'10" FRESHMAN)-Redshirted last season to get stronger, seems like he will have to contribute this year even though he might not be ready. Is on a similar path to Gourgui Dieng had here, a good shot blocker who will develop his offensive game as time goes on. Will have to help on the boards as he's U of L's tallest player. AKOY AGAU(6'8" FRESHMAN)-Another player who will have to help on the glass this year, not sure he is physically ready to contribute but he is a good shot blocker who will help in that department. His best is ahead of him, good potential for the future. CHANE BEHANAN(6'6" JUNOR)*- He has been suspended for a violation of University policy indefinitely. I say he will be back (this is U of L after all), A monster on the glass, had a double double in National Title game, good post game, terrible free throw shooter, uses his body well defensively in the post. THERE YOU HAVE IT: THIS TEAM WILL CONTEND FOR A NATIONAL TITLE, THIS WILL BE A GOOD THREE POINT SHOOTING THEM BUT TO ME ARE TOO SMALL TO WIN ANOTHER NATIONAL TITLE!!!! ALSO IF BEHANAN DOES NOT COME BACK FOR SOME REASON THEIR CHANCES SHRINK EXPONENTIALLY!!!!!! ALSO THE TEAM CHEMISTRY ISSUES WITH AND WITHOUT BEHANAN!!!!! THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!

Breakdown Of Louisville at Kentucky Basketball!!!!!!
A highly anticipated game on December 28th between the last two National Champs, should be entertaining. Opening comment this is experience (Louisville) vs youth and talent (Kentucky). Here we go: POINT GUARD- CHRIS JONES( 5'10" JUNIOR) VS ANDREW HARRISON (6'6" FRESHMAN)- Jones is a newcomer National Junior College player of the year, quick, ball handler, decent passer, serviceable 3 point shot, has experience at the college level. Andrew Harrison one half of the Harrison twins is the top incoming freshman point guard in the country, can pass, shoot, good ball handler, serviceable 3 point shot. Both are adequate defensively it comes down to talent, because both do not have experience at Division 1 level. ADVANTAGE- ANDREW HARRISON. SHOOTING GUARD- RUSS SMITH (6'0" SENIOR) VS AARON HARRISON (6'6" FRESHMAN)- Smith is experienced (2 Final Fours, 1 National Title), quick on offense, quick hands, resilient, volume shooter. Aaron Harrison other half of the Harrison twins is a lot like his brother but is more aggressive with his offense, good defender, can play point also, good 3 point shooter. This matchup I will go with experience over talent. ADVANTAGE- SMITH. SMALL FORWARD-WAYNE BLACKSHEAR(6'5 JUNIOR) VS ALEX POYTHRESS (6'8" SOPHOMORE)- Blackshear a former McDonald's All-American has had shoulder problems but is very explosive leaper, can shoot the 3, good defender, and he's one of my favorite players. Poythress had a freshman season that was good by standards at any other school but Kentucky, good shooter out to 3, explosive, decent ball handler, okay defender. ADVANTAGE- POYTHRESS. POWER FORWARD- CHANE BEHANNAN(6'6" JUNIOR) VS JULIUS RANDLE(6'9" FRESHMAN)- Behannan is a beast, a monster on the glass, runs the floor very well, and experienced. Randle is a total monster himself, can shoot the 3, good ball handler, explosive off the floor, shot blocker, possibly the best incoming freshman in college basketball. I go with experience here, only slightly. ADVANTAGE- BEHANNAN. CENTER- STEPHAN VAN TREESE(6'9" SENIOR) VS WILLIE CAULEY-STEIN( 7'0" SOPHOMORE)- Van Treese has been a serviceable player for Louisville with some injury issues, good rebounder, not much of a scorer, runs the floor well, Cauley-Stein is a good rebounder, good offensive player, can run the floor very well, shot blocker. I take size in this one ADVANTAGE- CAULEY-STEIN. For the bench I will name player and say which team has the advantage. LOUISVILLE- LUKE HANCOCK(6'6" SENIOR), MONTREZI HARRELL(6'8" SOPHOMORE), ANTON GILL (6'4" FRESHMAN),TERRY ROZIER(6'1" FRESHMAN), MANGOK MATHIANG(6'10" FRESHMAN), AKOY AGAU(6'8" FRESHMAN), KEVIN WARE (6'2" JUNIOR)- They have Final Four MOP, Under 19 participant, and some young guards coming off the bench, pretty impressive also with a couple of young big men to provide rebounding. KENTUCKY- JAMES YOUNG (6'7" FRESHMAN),DAKARI JOHNSON (6'11" FRESHMAN), MARCUS LEE(6'9" FRESHMAN),JAROD POLSON(6'2" SENIOR), JON HOOD(6'7" SENIOR),DOMINIQUE HAWKINS(6'0" FRESHMAN), DEREK WILLIS(6'9" FRESHMAN)- Lots of youth and size off the bench, a little thin in the backcourt, but a lot of interchangeable parts off this bench, also a ton of athleticism. I will go with size and give bench advantage to: ADVANTAGE- KENTUCKY. COACHING- RICK PITINO VS JOHN CALIPARI- Pitino is a Hall of Fame Coach, brought Kentucky's program back to life in the 90's, he has shown he still has the magic touch as a Coach and gets the best out of his talent. Calipari will be a Hall Of Fame Coach someday and is doing well recruiting and is a very underrated Coach, but I will have to give Coaching edge to ADVANTAGE- Pitino. CONCLUSION- This game will be about experience vs youth and talent, I would say if this game was being played earlier in the season and at a neutral site Louisville would be a slight favorite. But with the three weeks extra time afforded for practice this year and Kentucky having about 10 games under their belt when this matchup takes place. Also the game being in Rupp Arena, oh I have to take into account Louisville's pressure defense and playing a matchup zone. They will get killed on the glass in their matchup zone and are too small to play man to man, I will say Kentucky wins this game and by double digits. KENTUCKY BY 11. THERE YOU HAVE IT, SHOULD BE AN EXCITING GAME AND BOTH FAN BASES SHOULD LOVE THE HIGH TALENT IN THIS GAME. THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!!

My Predictions For Kentucky Basketball Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!
These are my predictions for players being recruited by Kentucky in the Class of 2014: TYLER ULIS (MARIAN CATHOLIC, CHICAGO HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS)- He just committed last week, he's a 5'8" point guard and will run the team for 4 years. KARL TOWNS JR (ST JOSEPH'S, METUCHEN, NEW JERSEY)-He has been committed for over a year now, a 7'0" forward/center who has an inside/outside game, can shoot it out to NBA 3 point line. Now guys who have not committed to any college yet: JAHLIL OKAFOR (WHITNEY YOUNG, CHICAGO)- The 6'11" 270 pound center was impressed on his official visit to the Kentucky Alumni Game which put Kentucky back in the race. Still I think he's headed to Duke eventually. TYUS JONES( APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA)- He's a 6'1" point guard who I think was a long shot for Kentucky from the beginning. His Mom wears Duke gear all the time and is enamored with the school. It has been long rumored that Jones/Okafor is a package deal. It will happen as both will head to Duke. KELLY OUBRE (FINDLEY PREP,LAS VEGAS,NV by way of FORT BEND BUSH RICHMOND,TEXAS)-He was thought to be a Kansas lean until Coach Calipari's recent home visit, at this time, he's a 6'7" swingman who can shoot and slash equally well. I think Kentucky has a good chance to get him. STANLEY JOHNSON(MATER DEI, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA)- He's a 6'7" solid rock built do it all small forward, is said to be a package deal with Oubre, so if Kentucky gets Oubre there's a decent chance he comes to Lexington. My gut feeling is he stays on the West Coast and heads to Arizona. DEVIN BOOKER (MOSS POINT,MISSISSIPPI)- He's a 6'6"shooting guard, who can shoot and is a decent slasher to the basket. I am confident he will be a Kentucky Wildcat as he is said to be a package deal with Ulis. I think he was blown away by his visit to the Kentucky Alumni Game. Mark him down for Kentucky. JAMES BLACKMON JR(MARION,INDIANA)- He's a 6'4" shooting guard who I think can play point equally well, an Indiana decommit. He's a legacy recruit as his father James Sr played at Kentucky in the mid-80's. I think he will follow his Dad's legacy and will be a Kentucky Wildcat. RASHARD VAUGHN (FINDLEY PREP, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA by way of MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA)- He's a 6'6" shooting guard who I think will not be coming to Lexington as Coach Cal has had no contact with him in over a month. This one is not happening. TREY LYLES (ARSENAL TECHNICAL, INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA)- He's a 6'10" small forward/power forward who is very versatile, he's an Indiana decommit and Kentucky is battling Louisville for this one, a Cats/Cards old fashioned battle. As usual Kentucky will win this one, as Lyles will commit I think shortly after Big Blue Madness. CLIFF ALEXANDER(CURIE,CHICAGO)- He's a 6'9" power forward who has improved his perimeter shooting, he tries to dunk everything within miles of the rim. I think Kentucky has cooled down from recruiting him. I think he follows his girlfriend Caelynn Manning-Allen who's a freshman on the Women's Basketball Team at Kansas. THERE YOU GO, MY PREDICTIONS FOR THE CLASS OF 2014 KENTUCKY MEN'S BASKETBALL. WHEN IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE, KENTUCKY WILL HAVE ANOTHER GREAT RECRUITING CLASS!!!!!! This is my rant for today, God Bless and Peace To The Creatures!!!!!!!!!!!

Can Tyler Ulis Succeed At Kentucky??????????
This is a question a lot of BBN is asking lately, since he was offered in August by John Calipari. The kid's name is Tyler Ulis, he's a 5'8" point guard at Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights,IL. He is a Class of 2014 player, Kentucky offered him a scholarship because Emmanuel Mudiay the Top point guard in the class committed to SMU. Questions about Ulis: is he big enough to play on the high level of basketball Kentucky plays at? I for one watched him play once last year for his high school team in the Regional Final vs Crete Monee(who had current freshman superstar Ole Miss wide receiver LaQuan Treadwell on the team). I watched him that night and thought he was a fabulous player, he did not shoot all that well that night, but he still dominated the game from the point guard position. He is the kind of player that you have to really know the game to appreciate. No he's not an awesome high flying athlete like Nate Robinson, he's only 150 pounds at the most, and yes everyone else on the court is taller and bigger than him. Two things he has in abundance: heart and talent. The Heart part he will not back down nor is he intimidated by anyone. He went right at Tyus Jones another top point guard at the EYBL to the tune of 22 points and 17 assists. The Talent: he's a great 3 point shooter, can penetrate a dish the ball, knows where everyone is on the court, doesn't let himself get trapped in the half court or front court. He has speed, quickness, and great leadership qualities. Most of the time I would say a 5'8" player could not survive on the big time levels of college basketball. Tyler Ulis is an exception, Kentucky fans will end up loving this kid( if he announces for Kentucky tonight as anticipated). He is not a one and done, nor two and done player. The point guard position at Kentucky will be in good hands with his kid, or Dominique Hawkins who will not just give the starting position to Ulis without a fight. In conclusion I think Tyler Ulis will succeed and thrive at Kentucky for the 4 years he will be there. Get ready for the ride of a lifetime Big Blue Nation, Tyler Ulis is coming to town in 2014-2015 season. Blessings to you and your family Tyler Ulis. This is my rant for today, God Bless and Peace to the Creatures.

Jesus Christ Is The Son Of God No Doubt In My Mind!!!!!!!
Hello folks it's been awhile, I have had the stomach flu the past few days. Before that was on vacation at Bay Shore Family Camp in Seebewaing,MI then took my son to school at Valley Forge Military College just outside of Philadelphia,PA. I have been a Christian most of my life, have taken some turns and crooked roads but God has still kept me. The devil has tried to do some things to knock me out but God has still blessed me. Why? Sometimes I wonder myself as I have not been the best representative of Jesus Christ that I should be. I apologize to anyone I might have hurt with some of my words I have typed or what I have said. I will still say some things that might make some mad because some people are offended my Jesus Christ and what he is to the world. I myself have had to improve my love for people to get Jesus message across effectively. Jesus is working on cleansing me of that malady so I can be a more effective witness for Jesus Christ. As John 4:16 (NIV) in the Bible says "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes through the Father except through me." I will say I will not be deterred by anyone or anything that gets in the way of my witnessing to people who Jesus Christ is and explain repentance through Christ. I am not perfect, no human being is except Jesus Christ, but I will do my best from now on to represent Jesus Christ in every way in my life. I will be out there giving my best effort to Make God Well Known and to Make God Look Good. That's what all Christians should do, color should not matter black, white, latino, chinese, japanese, whatever. We are all equally loved by God, but we are to do our best to follow God's Laws or there will be a price to pay for us according to the Bible. I have to be a more effective witness, does not mean I will convert everyone to Jesus Christ but I have to do my duty to make Him well known and make Him look good. So I will still put out sports stories that I see, or put out things that are socially conscious, but most of my words and typings will be to glorify Jesus Christ, the one who should be glorified and first in all of our lives. So I might lose some Facebook friends because of my renewed focus on what my life is supposed to be, but I don't care I am doing the right thing. I will do my best to witness to folks about Jesus Christ in Love. This is the big change in my life and I hope folks will understand, but if they don't I know I am doing the right thing, and heeding my call from God to witness to folks. This does not mean I will get to Heaven because of this, because you don't get to Heaven with your works, it's confessing with your heart that Jesus Christ is The Son Of God, and you have the heart to love other people enough to witness to them. I would not want my worst enemy to go to Hell, it is a terrible place and yes there are some people who have seen it and are still here to tell about it. So this is the renewed me, hopefully people will notice the change because it's the only way I can effectively witness for Jesus Christ. God Bless everyone and Peace To The Creatures.

No Justice For Trayvon Martin Why Are Blacks Surprised At This????????
There was a trial over the last two weeks for George Zimmerman in the killing of 17 year old Trayvon Martin in Sanford,Florida. He was found not guilty by a jury of his "peers". I have a lot to say about this: first of all why are my fellow African Americans upset at the verdict? We should have known what was going to happen. I didn't waste one second watching the trial at all because I knew what was coming. I told friends weeks ago that he would get off and be found not guilty. Second of all a jury of 6 people all white females that live in Sanford,Florida. Sanford has never been known as a progressive city for blacks. Thirdly from what I heard the trials was not about what it should have been about. This should have been an open and shut case, Zimmerman stalked Martin, kept following him when dispatch told him not to. Stalked, harassed, shot and killed an unarmed teenager. Instead the idiot prosecutor, defense focused on who was on top of whom, whom was crying out, and how much marijuana Martin smoked. These things did not have a thing to do with what happened that night. Trayvon Martin's past history in school or how much endo he smoked should not have been introduced into the trial at all. To me it seemed more like Trayvon Martin was on trial not George Zimmerman who I feel is racist and thinks he's a white man. But we as black folks should be used to this: black man's repurtation, humanity, and rights as a human being have been trampled on for centuries. Did we think this would stop when a half black, half white man was elected to the White House? As African Americans we should have known better, we should have been shocked if Zimmerman was found guilty. We can't be brainwashed that this is a post racial society just because Barack Obama is President of The United States. My fellow African Americans this is still the "United States of America". When has this country ever been "United" in anything? The Constitution still has in it's document that blacks are 3/5th's of a human being and you think Trayvon Martin is going to get any kind of justice? OJ Simpson was found not guilty by a court of law yet he was ostracized by the "United States Of America". Progress for African Americans is we have to get out of the economic slavery that we are in from this system. Yes we have some that have come a long way in this, but there are still too many in poverty and dependent upon the White Establishment. So as I asked originally: Why Are We Surprised That Trayvon Martin Did Not Get Justice? Also what is justice from the millions of African Americans killed over Centuries in this country by jealous white folks? Then again where's the uproar from blacks killing blacks every day? I hope my fellow African Americans think about these questions very deeply. This is my rant for today. God Bless and Peace to the Creatures.

Why the Hatred For Lebron James Especially By Black Men??????????
Lebron James plays for the Miami Heat in the National Basketball Association. He at the moment is the best basketball player in the world, an NBA Champ, 4 time Most Valuable Player. He's in the NBA Finals for the third straight year and fourth time overall. I have never personally understood the hatred of Lebron James especially by black men. He doesn't get into trouble, he takes care of his kids, he does a lot of charitable work, and has 3 other guys controlling his brand, childhood friends all with college degrees. He isn't a terrible individual on the court, a team player, very well spoken when talking to the media. I feel the blackman has been brainwashed by the white media, and white people in general to hate Lebron. It goes back to high school, when the media anointed him King James. Some folks thought then he was full of himself but he has more than lived up to the hype as a basketball player. Now I will get to the real problem people have with Lebron James, and black men have bought into this hook, line, and sinker. The real issue is he is one of the few black men in America that had total freedom at one point in his life. This was in 2010 when he played out his contract, once again I will emphasize HE PLAYED OUT HIS CONTRACT PEOPLE!!!!!!! This means he was a FREE AGENT, emphasize the word FREE. This means he did not belong to any team at the time, didn't belong to any city at the time. Since there was no one person, not the white slovenly slob media,David Stern, no owner, no white man in America that could control where Lebron chose to play. Lebron had total freedom to do whatever he wanted to with his life at that point. White man in America have tried for centuries to bring black men down using any means necessary(Malcolm X) to bring us down. They could not take it that Lebron James had that freedom to do whatever he wanted. He was the envy of black men in America the freedom to do what he wanted and the white man could do nothing but wait. How many white men do you know are willing to wait for a black man to do anything in America? I'll let you folks marinate on that one for awhile. So Lebron James made his decision to play for the Miami Heat with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. He did it on a one hour special on ESPN, with proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Club of America. Did you folks get that? All proceeds went to the Boys and Girls Club of America. People in Cleveland went berserk, burned his jersey, then the Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert went off like Lebron was a runaway slave. Then Lebron suffered the backlash all over America. I could understand people especially white people in Cleveland being somewhat upset. I could not and still don't understand black people bashing this man. Lebron James should be celebrated by black men in America. He is a good representative of us, he came from poverty, terrible poverty, worked hard in White America and now has a good life for himself. Black Men need to look deeper at what opportunity Lebron had. He was for once what we wish for ourselves, at one time he had total freedom in America and no white man controlled him or his fate. We should be thankful and give Lebron James a standing ovation for the man he has become. Well this is my rant for today. God Bless and Peace To The Creatures.

Andrew Wiggins College Decision!!!!!!!
Andrew Wiggins is considered widely the #1 high school prospect in the United States. Also considered the Top Amateur basketball player in the world. He is from Thornhill,Canada just outside of Toronto. He played his high school basketball at Huntington Prep in West Virginia. He is down to four schools: Kentucky,Florida State,Kansas, and North Carolina. He will probably be deciding his college choice in the next week or so. Many people have opinions on where he should go,many have claimed to have "sources" (I am guilty of this also) that know where he's going to school. As for me I think Kentucky would do well with or without him. I will say I think the best school for him is Kentucky. I know people will say we are pretty loaded already, with the best recruiting class in the history of college basketball. This is all true, but I will lay down the reasons he should pick Kentucky(withstanding my bias). 1) Obviously he will get exposure for his BRAND going to Kentucky. Right now John Calipari and Kentucky are a hot item, the "it" school to go to. People who hate Kentucky have to admit this deep down because it's the truth. From my "source" Nike has told Wiggins as much, that going to Kentucky will help his BRAND immensely. 2) Not as much pressure on him: Yeah yeah I know people say, KENTUCKY IS THE ULTIMATE PRESSURE COOKER!!!!!!! Yes it is, but let me explain: he will share the spotlight with the Harrison twins,Julius Randle,James Young and the other McDonald's All-Americans. He will have pressure but it won't all be on him. He can ease into his role and not get double teamed. 3) He will get competition every practice: the practices at Kentucky next season will be better than games. You can't help but to "bring it" every practice or you will sit on the bench. He will be able to improve his weaknesses and have some fun at the same time. 4) Coaching: Coach Calipari is very underrated as a coach, he has helped a lot of guys improve their games and become pros when nobody thought they would: Darius Miller,DeAndre Liggins, Josh Harrelson are great examples. So he will improve. 5) He will be closer to his girlfriend: yes he has a girlfriend in Huntington,WV. Her name is Mychal Johnson, she's one of the Top 25 high school prospect in the Class of 2014, and committed to Notre Dame. Here's a synopsis of her profile on ESPN.COM: http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/139062/mychal-johnson. Huntington is about 90 minutes from Lexington, he can easily go and see her when he gets the chance. and 6) He has a great chance of winning a National Championship and possibly going undefeated( it's kinda farfetched but fun to think about). The talent and just enough experienced players, he has a good chance of leaving a legacy and being a legend in Kentucky forever. There you have it, these should be compelling reasons for him to come to the Bluegrass and be a Kentucky Wildcat. We will see if it happens. If it doesn't I wish the young man the best of success as he seems to be a great kid. GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!

Breakdown of Kentucky Wildcats 2013-2014 Roster!!!!!!!!!
I feel this is another National Championship Roster, will they do it? It remains to be seen but it will be interesting to watch: PROJECTED STARTERS-----POINT GUARD ANDREW HARRISON(6'5" FRESHMAN)- The best incoming freshman point guard who I think will develop into the best point guard in college basketball. He is the key to the whole season and the team chemistry, he is tough minded, has a will to win, great passer and very talented. He does not have to score for this team but has to be a leader and get others the ball. Total package offensively but remains to be seen how he will do defensively. SHOOTING GUARD AARON HARRISON(6'6" FRESHMAN)- The other half of the Harrison twins, can shoot the lights out to the parking lot, also can run the point in a pinch, plays well off his brother. Will have to have better shot selection to maximize his potential. Same as his brother tough minded, will to win and very talented. Also like his brother hammers other guards to desperation and draws a lot of fouls. SMALL FORWARD/SWINGMAN ALEX POYTHRESS(6'7" SOPHOMORE)- Wonderful talent will have no choice but to improve his intensity this year or he won't play. Can rebound well, good three point shooter and can slash to the basket. Has to make better decisions on the court but will have good guards setting him up for easy baskets. Will have to play better defense and stay out of foul trouble if he wants to play. POWER FORWARD JULIUS RANDLE(6'9" FRESHMAN)- A hard-nosed finisher, can slash to the basket or pound you in the post. Good dribbling skills for a big man and a good passer out of the post. A mismatch nightmare because of his versatility, also can rebound at a high rate. Will have to cut down on his turnovers and play inside 15 feet more. CENTER- WILLIE CAULEY-STEIN(7'0" SOPHOMORE)- Will not have to do as much as last year, rebound, block shots, will have to improve his back to the basket game. Will be able to play more aggressive and there is great depth behind him unlike this past year. Can run the floor for easy baskets and dunks, will have to vastly improve his free throw shooting. BENCH JAMES YOUNG (6'7" FRESHMAN)- As talented as the other freshman are, he has the biggest upside to me as a possible future NBA All-Star. Surprised? He's a great three point shooter, also can slash to the basket and dunk on you. He's one of those quiet scorers who can put a bunch of points on you before you know it. Will spread the defense out with his shooting, also I think he has the potential to be a great one on one defender and rebounds at a high rate for his size. DAKARI JOHNSON (6'11" FRESHMAN)- Will back up Cauley-Stein, he is a true center that can play with his back to the basket. Also can block shots if needed and use his big body to move guys off the block. Rebounds at a high rate and can also play aggressive with this deep team. MARCUS LEE(6'9" FRESHMAN)- He will have to fight for minutes as he has to hit the weight room and very hard. He can block shots, a good passer out of the post and his offensive game is rapidly improving. His value is as a shot blocker and rebounder for this team. JAROD POLSON( 6'2"SENIOR)- He played very well as a backup and will be needed in that role again this season. He gets to the hole pretty well and can shoot the three pointer, he's limited on the defensive end even though he makes a great effort. He will bring energy and passion to this team, and can give a few good minutes off the bench at point guard. JON HOOD (6'7" SENIOR)- Played very well in the minutes he was given last season, does a little bit of everything, hit the three, rebound, pass, a serviceable player who will have to fight for minutes this season. He can provide senior leadership on the bench. DEREK WILLIS (6'9" FRESHMAN)-Very skilled big man with guard skills, can shoot the 3 pointer, good passer, can rebound and handle the ball, has to get stronger and hit the weights hard this summer. Might not play much this year but will be a very good one in the future. DOMINIQUE HAWKINS(6'1" FRESHMAN)- A late addition who might just end up as the backup at point guard, very athletic can get to the basket. A decent three point shooter, he will have to improve in that area. Plays with a lot of intensity on the defensive end and will bother the opposing point guard. I see him getting some time on this team. I think he will surprise a lot of people with his play next season. . THERE YOU HAVE IT THIS TEAM WILL BE DEEP AT EVERY POSITION, HAS SHOOTING, PASSING,REBOUNDING, ABILITY TO BE A GREAT DEFENSIVE TEAM. I AM LOOKING AT A NATIONAL TITLE FOR THIS TEAM BBN!!!!!!!! WE HAVE A LOT TO LOOK FORWARD TO: THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!

Which 4 year State Title Run Was Better? Simeon's or Peoria Manual's?
Simeon Wolverines just finished up winning their 4th Straight Class 4A State Title and people are asking was it as impressive as Peoria Manual's run(1994-1997)? I might be in the minority and say yes it COULD BE!!!!! Here's my reasoning: yes 4 class system in Illinois is watered down at this time. Yes 2 class system was better and Peoria Manual's run was impressive. But Simeon to me had to go through a harder schedule in the regular season's and the road to the State Finals was tougher. First of all Simeon played multiple National Games against out of state teams over a 4 year period. Peoria Manual beat Oak Hill Academy in 1996 in Arkansas I believe. Yes there was a 300 mile restriction in place then also for Illinois teams to travel. I maintain getting through the Chicago Public League and the Sectionals Simeon had to go through. They to me were tougher than the Mid State 6 that Peoria Manual played in. Also Sergio McClain,Marcus Griffin, and Frankie Williams were not as good as Jabari Parker. Simeon had a supporting cast of Kendrick Nunn,Steve Taylor and Brandon Spearman over those 4 years. Also Simeon had to play prep school factories like Findlay Prep, Montverde Academy and such. By the way Simeon also beat Oak Hill Academy by a pretty good margin this season. One thing I will give Peoria Manual, their competition at the State Finals was a lot tougher, Thornton for 3 years, Whitney Young in 1997 for sure. But Simeon had to get by tough Whitney Young and Curie teams three years in a row in Sectional play. My opinion is Simeon's total run regular season, regional, sectional play were tougher, and Manual's State Finals was tougher. SLIGHT EDGE TO SIMEON'S 4 YEAR RUN!!!!!!! I DON'T SEE IT EVER BEING DUPLICATED AGAIN!!!!!!! THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS EVERYONE AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!

Illinois Class 4A and Class 3A State Finals Picks
WELL IT'S PEORIA AND THE STATE FINALS, COULD IT BE A PUBLIC LEAGUE PARTY OR WILL DOWNSTATE TEAMS TAKE BOTH TITLES?????? HERE WE GO: CLASS 4A: Simeon(Chicago) vs Proviso East(Maywood)- Rematch of last years State Title Game, Proviso East is looking for revenge for a 2 point loss, and Simeon is looking for history and a 4 peat. For me it comes down to this Proviso East team does not match up as well as they did last year. Jabari Parker will finally dominate at the State Finals and Kendrick Nunn and Jaylon Tate will provide steady guard play against Proviso's pressure. Sterling Brown and Paris Lee will not be enough, Simeon moves on to the title game. PREDICTION: SIMEON BY 10. Stevenson(Lincolnshire) vs Edwardsville- This will be size vs speed and execution, Edwardsville starts 4 6'5" guys and they are a steady and well rounded team. Stevenson has super sophomore point guard Jaylen Brunson who controls games, he will have to control this game for his young sophomore laden team to advance. Garrett Covington a Western Illinois signee is one of the best kept secrets in the state of Illinois, a 6'5" guard who can hit the 3 and slash to the basket. This team from near St Louis will move on to the title game. PREDICTION: EDWARDSVILLE BY 8, TITLE GAME: Simeon(Chicago) vs Edwardsville- Edwardsville has the size and talent to stay with Simeon, but Jabari Parker, Kendrick Nunn will not be denied being this close to title Number 4 to close their stellar careers in dominating style. PREDICTION: SIMEON WINS BY 14 WINS A 4TH STRAIGHT STATE TITLE!!!!!!!!!!! CLASS 3A: Morgan Park(Chicago) vs Bartonville Limestone- Morgan Park has been dominant in the State Playoffs winning every game by at least 20 points, Billy Garrett Jr,Kyle Davis, and Markee Williams are a great backcourt and will control this game. Limestone's shooting guard Hank Matthews the coach's son will try to keep his team in the game but Morgan Park advances in blowout fashion. PREDICTION: MORGAN PARK BY 22. Cahokia vs Orr(Chicago)- Cahokia has motivation as they might lose their athletic programs after this season, they have point guard Keenan Minor, 6'7 big man Vincent Jackson and top junior 6'7" Darius Austin while Orr is also here for the 1st time counters with juniors Marlon Jones 6'8" and Tyquon Greer 6'7"but Orr's guards will decide this one Jamal McDowell and Simeon transfer Brandon Clemmons will control this game, Orr moves on. PREDICTION: ORR BY 8, TITLE GAME Morgan Park(Chicago) vs Orr(Chicago)- These two Chicago Public League powerhouses have not met yet this season, Orr's Jones and Greer will have to dominate inside to put Orr over the top in this one, but I say Morgan Park has enough inside firepower to counter act that with Xzavier Taylor 6'9" and Josh Cunningham 6'7" to go along with Garrett Jr, Davis, and Williams, Morgan Park wins it's first State Title in 35 years to make it a Public League party in Peoria. PREDICTION: MORGAN PARK BY 12. THERE YOU HAVE IT: CHICAGO PUBLIC LEAGUE HAS DOMINATED THE STATE ALL YEAR AND IT WILL SHOW THIS WEEKEND!!!!!!!! THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!! SO LONG FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!

Illinois Class 4A And Class 3A Supersectional Capsules And Predictions!!!!!!!
Now it's SUPERSECTIONAL TIME, one game away from the State Finals in Peoria, season is winding down and it's sad in a way but here it goes: CHICAGO STATE UNIVERSITY: New Trier(Winnetka) vs Simeon(Chicago)- Some media members are trying to con us into believing New Trier has a chance to beat 3 time defending champ Simeon. News flash media NEW TRIER HAS NO CHANCE, too big, too strong, too intelligent, too well coached. Simeon's senior laden team led by McDonald's All-American Jabari Parker and Kendrick Nunn will overpower New Trier. Princeton signee Steven Cook has had a great playoff run but Simeon defensive stopper Kendall Pollard will shut him down. PREDICTION: SIMEON BY 25. HINSDALE CENTRAL: West Aurora(Aurora) vs Proviso East(Maywood)- Rematch of last years Supersectional which was won by Proviso East, Proviso East will win again on the strength of the speed and quickness of SMU signee Sterling Brown, Illinois State signee Paris Lee and Brandon Jenkins. PREDICTION: PROVISO EAST BY 10. DEKALB(NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY): Boylan Catholic(Rockford) vs Stevenson(Lincolnshire)- Rockford Boylan's 6'6" senior big man Ben Grygiel could give Stevenson's sophomore laden team problems but I think super sophomore point guard Jaylen Brunson will trump that and take this young team down to Peoria earlier than scheduled. PREDICTION: STEVENSON BY 7. NORMAL(ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY): Marian Catholic(Chicago Heights) vs Edwardsville- This is a tough one to call Marian Catholic has beaten bigger teams all season and Edwardsville has 4 starters at 6'5", but i think Marian Catholic's quickness and Tyler Ulis's ability to control the game from the point guard position will prevail. PREDICTION: MARIAN CATHOLIC BY 6. CLASS 3A This might be the better Final Four down in Peoria as you could have 2 powerhouse teams. DEKALB(NORTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY): St Francis(Wheaton) vs Bartonville Limestone- Limestone upset Washington in regionals and has a very goos sophomore point guard of their own. PREDICTION: BARTONVILLE LIMESTONE BY 10. JOLIET CENTRAL: Morgan Park(Chicago) vs Hillcrest(Country Club Hills)- This will be Morgan Park's toughest test yet because Hillcrest is a tough hard-nosed team who has been to this level before. I think too much talent at the guard positions in DePaul signee Billy Garrett Jr,Markee Williams, and Dayton signee Kyle Davis will be too much. The 3A Favorite moves on to Peoria. PREDICTION: MORGAN PARK BY 14. SPRINGFIELD: Cahokia vs Chatham(Glenwood)- Peyton Allen is a fabulous player who has come back from illness to get back to one of the best players on the state. But he alone is not enough for the talented Cahokia team led by Keenan Minor and super junior Darius Austin. PREDICTION: CAHOKIA BY 10. HOFFMAN ESTATES: North Chicago vs Orr(Chicago)- Best super sectional matchup in either 4A or 3A, a lot of talent on the floor and some edge here. These teams were supposed to play on MLK Day at the Young MLK shootout, but Orr backed out saying they wanted to wait until Supersectional. Well here it is and North Chicago's coach Gerald King Coleman said Orr was scared of North Chicago. Well between North Chicago's Javarious Amos-Mays, Kurt Hall, and Jayquon McCoy, and Orr's Marlon Jones, Louis Adams Jr, Tyquone Greer this will be entertaining and fast paced. Key to me will be Orr's point guard Jamal McDowell and North Chicago's point guard Emmanuel January and which one can stay in control of his team? North Chicago is looking for it's 3rd straight trip to Peoria and Orr is looking for it's 1st. This to me will be the difference, North Chicago moves on. PREDICTION: NORTH CHICAGO BY 5. THERE YOU HAVE IT, GREAT DAY TOMORROW AND EXCITING END TO THE HIGH SCHOOL SEASON IN THE CHICAGO AREA. THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simeon vs Whitney Young Round 2 Class 4A Sectional Final!!!!!!!
I Know people are going to say I am being presumptuous for saying this, but this is the true State Title Game in Class 4A. It's too bad it's happening in a Sectional Final, this could be an all-time Classic Game. I think part of it has been taken away with Whitney Young playing back to back days. Two teams that are ranked in the Top 10 Nationally. Here we go: Simeon(Chicago) vs Whitney Young(Chicago)- BACKCOURT: Jaylen Tate and Kendrick Nunn(Simeon) vs Austere Madison and Myles Reynolds(Young)-Tate has been solid most of the year at point guard and he will team with Nunn who's a high flyer and 3 point shooter, at Illnois but unfinished business here. Madison has grown on me, he doesn't shoot a lot but can make shots, he does his job gets it to the scorers, Reynolds is a knockdown 3 point shooter. Both teams are very good defensively in the backcourt. ADVANTAGE- SIMEON. FRONTCOURT: Kendall Pollard,Jabari Parker,Russell Woods(Simeon) vs LJ Peak, Paul White, Jahlil Okafor(Young)- Lots of star power here, you have a McDonalds All-American(Parker), defensive stopper in Pollard, and a glass cleaner in Woods. But Young has three Top 50 National juniors on their frontline and Okafor will be a McDonalds All-American next season. To me a no brainer on advantage here. ADVANTAGE-WHITNEY YOUNG. BENCH: Donte Ingram,DJ Williams(Simeon), Joseph Toye(Young)- Simeon's bench is not as good as at the start of the season, Robert Smith has shortened his bench but Young has practically nothing coming off it's bench. ADVANTAGE- SIMEON. COACHING: Robert Smith(Simeon) vs Tyrone Slaughter(Whitney Young)- Both have won State Titles, Smith has a State Record 5 State Titles on his resume, Slaughter I will say is much improved as a coach, let's his players play with more freedom than usual, but..........ADVANTAGE: SIMEON CONCLUSION................ I DON'T THINK THIS WILL BE THE CLASSIC THAT PEOPLE ARE LOOKING FOR, PARTLY BECAUSE OF THE SNOW CHANGING THE SCHEDULE, AND YOUNG HAVING TO PLAY BACK TO BACK DAYS WITH NO BENCH TO SPEAK OF. ALSO SIMEON IS ON A MISSION FOR HISTORY TO WIN 4 STRAIGHT STATE TITLES. MY PREDICTION IS........................ SIMEON BY 8 AND MOVES ON TO MAKE IT 4 STRAIGHT TITLES!!!!!!! PS KEY WILL BE IF PAUL WHITE SHOWS UP, HE HAS NEVER SHOWN UP VS SIMEON, CAN HE DO IT THIS TIME??????????
Illinois Class 4A Sectional Final Capsules And Predictions!!!!!!!!!
There were some barnburner games tonight but now we are into the Sectional Finals and these are the captions and predictions: BOLINGBROOK: West Aurora(Aurora) vs Benet Academy(Lisle)- Benet won a 2OT Game tonight, I think this will effect them playing back to back days, big man Sean O'Mara will tire in the 4th quarter and West Aurora moves on to Supersectional. DEKALB: Boylan(Rockford) vs Jefferson(Rockford)- I am taking Boylan in this one. HARVEY(THORNTON): Marian Catholic(Chicago Heights) vs Bloom(Chicago Heights)- The battle of Chicago Heights round 2, Marian Catholic and Tyler Ulis won the last meeting, I am taking Bloom though in an upset, Johnny Griffin will lead Bloom onto a chance to make it to the Final Four in consecutive years for retiring Coach Jasper Williams. GLENBROOK NORTH(NORTHBROOK): Niles North(Skokie) vs New Trier(Winnetka)- This is Niles North's 3rd consecutive Sectional Final appearance and while 5'7" superstar Malachi Nix is a great player, I will pick New Trier to move on, no matchup for Steve Cook, just as Notre Dame had trouble matching up with the Princeton signee. PEKIN: Edwardsville vs Rock Island- I picked against Rock Island in the last game, will not do it again, Rock Island moves on. SCHAUMBURG: Proviso East(Maywood) vs River Forest(Oak Park)- Proviso East and Sterling Brown, Paris Lee, and Brandon Jenkins are too fast and too much pressure for Erick Locke and company, Proviso East moves on to their 2nd straight Supersectional. SUMMITT(ARGO)- Simeon(Chicago) vs Whitney Young(Chicago)- I will have a special breakdown of this game in a separate rant. The DeFacto State Championship Game.WAUKEGAN: Stevenson(Lincolnshire) vs St Viator(Arlington Heights)- This sophomore laden team led by the great sophomore Jalen Brunson will control this game and move on to the Supersectional over a very good St Viator club. THERE YOU HAVE IT!!!!!!!! SHOULD BE AN INTERESTING FRIDAY NIGHT, BIG QUESTION!!!! WILL THE TEAMS THAT PLAYED ON THURSDAY NIGHT BE TOO TIRED TO WIN ON CONSECUTIVE DAYS???? THIS IS MY RANT FOR TODAY, GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!!!

Illinois Class 4A Sectional Semi Final Capsules and Predictions
These are my Sectional Semi Final Breakdown and Predictions: BOLINGBROOK: Oswego vs West Aurora(Aurora)- This one I give the advantage to Oswego who is the top seed; their backcourt of Miles Simelton who is a Division 1 prospect, and Elliott McGaughy will control the game and send Blackhawks home. Benet Academy(Lisle) vs Neuqua Valley(Naperville)- Benet big man Sean O'Mara and Pat McInereney will be the difference and take out Neuqua Valley who's weak schedule will finally catch up with them. DEKALB: Larkin(Elgin) vs Jefferson(Rockford)- Larkin is ranked in Top 25 in Chicago area and for good reason, Larkin takes this one. Boylan Catholic(Rockford) vs Central(Crystal Lake)- I am taking Boylan in this one, and it should be a close one. THORNTON(HARVEY): Marian Catholic(Chicago Heights) vs West(Joliet)-I went to see Tyler Ulis on Friday and he has to be the most exciting guard I have seen since Mr Basketball Ryan Boatright at East Aurora who's now at Connecticut, his running mate Terrone Parham will help on the glass. They should take out Joliet West and high flying Morris Dunnigan. Bloom(Chicago Heights) vs Stagg(Palos Hills)- Stagg is a Cinderella but the glass slipper will not fit in this game, I am taking Bloom who is trying to get back to the Final Four for outgoing coach Jasper Williams. Battle of Chicago Heights 2 will happen on Friday Night. GLENBROOK NORTH(NORTHBROOK)- Maine South(Park Ridge) vs Niles North(Skokie)- They played a 2OT Game for the Central Suburban Championship two weeks ago. This one will be close also, I think Maine South will hammer Niles North and 5'7" Malachi Nix once again on the boards and prevail. Notre Dame(Niles) vs New Trier(Winnetka)- Notre Dame to me has been the best team in this Sectional all year, but I have a feeling that New Trier will pull the upset here, Steve Cook will outplay Matt Mooney. Sorry Ninos. PEKIN: O'Fallon vs Edwardsville- O'Fallon pulled the upset of Belleville East in Regional, but I am taking Edwardsville in this one. Community West(Normal) vs Rock Island- I am taking Normal Community West in this one. SCHAUMBURG: Proviso East(Maywood) vs Glenbard East(Lombard)-Sterling Brown, Paris Lee and Proviso East is looking for return trip back to Final Four and they will steamroll through a good Glenbard East team. York(Elmhurst) vs River Forest(Oak Park)- Individual matchup of David Cohn and Erick Locke is intriguing but i am picking the upset here, Oak Park is too long and athletic for York. SUMMIT(ARGO)- Simeon(Chicago) vs DuSable(Chicago)- We get to the best Sectional in the state but one team DuSable has pulled off two gigantic upsets to get here over Catholic League teams Brother Rice and St Rita at the buzzer. They will not pull off a third gigantic upset as Simeon three time defending 4A State Champs will win in a blowout as Jabari Parker, Kendrick Nunn and company are focused on making history. Whitney Young(Chicago) vs Curie(Chicago)- This will be one of the best big man match ups in the history of Illinois High School Basketball as Young's Jahlil Okafor Area Player of The Year and #1 player in Class of 2014 nationally against Cliff Alexander of Curie #4 ranked player in Class of 2014 nationally. To me forward LJ Peak is a matchup nightmare and will give Whitney Young the edge here. Young moves on to the gigantic matchup #2 with Simeon. WAUKEGAN: Stevenson(Lincolnshire) vs Mundelein: This should be a high scoring game Stevenson led by Jalen Brunson an exciting top notch player(would love to see him go against Tyler Ulis) and Mundelein and Sean O'Brien. This game I think will be decided by the other sophomore Conner Cashaw and Stevenson will prevail by double digits as Robert Knar still not quite healthy coming off knee injury for Mundelein. Zion Benton(Zion) vs St Viator(Arlington Heights)- Milik Yarbrough the best player in Lake County vs Ore Arogundade both are great junior forwards and the matchup should be exciting to watch, I will pick Zion Benton in a close one here. THERE YOU HAVE IT, SHOULD BE AN EXCITING NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, I WILL COME BACK AND MAKE MY SECTIONAL FINALS PREDICTIONS LATER IN THE WEEK!!!!!! GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!

Breakdown Chicago Public League Title Game!!!!!!
Here we are the CPS Title Game: This is an unexpected matchup between Whitney Young and Morgan Park. Young is a serious contender for 4A Title while Morgan Park is a serious contender for 3A Title. Should be a great game here's the breakdown: WHITNEY YOUNG(22-3) VS MORGAN PARK(26-2)- Whitney Young has had a dominant run in the CPS Playoffs beating everyone by at least 17 points. They are playing great basketball at the right time of the year. Jahlil Okafor(6'10" center) has been dominant in the paint, Paul White(6'8" forward) has done a great Scottie Pippen imitation and LJ Peak(6'5"forward) has been his slashing self. All are juniors but Whitney Young's backcourt will be key. Morgan Park is still high over their upset of Simeon in the semifinals, DePaul signee Billy Garrett Jr(6'4" guard) has played very well, his backcourt mates Dayton signee Kyle Davis(6'0" guard) and Markee Williams(5'9" guard) make up the best backcourt in the state but a small and quick front court will be key. My prediction: While Morgan Park's backcourt is better, Young will dominate on the front line and get Morgan Park into foul trouble. Also Young has been dominant the whole tournament, and even though Morgan Park has had the toughest road to the Finals, I have Whitney Young winning the city title by 8 points. THERE YOU HAVE IT, SHOULD BE A GREAT ATMOSPHERE TONIGHT!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Breakdown Chicago Public League SemiFinals!!!!!!!
This is the best high school post season tournament in the United States, better than the IHSA State Tournament. The semifinals will have two contenders for the 3A Title(Morgan Park,Orr) and 4A Title(Simeon,Whitney Young). This should be a great night at Chicago State on Wednesday night: 5pm ORR (23-2) VS WHITNEY YOUNG (21-3)---- I was at the game almost 2 weeks ago when Orr won the Red West Title at Young 50-47 on a 3 point buzzer beater by Jamie McDowell. Both teams were missing players who will be playing in this game Marlon Jones(Orr) and Paul White(Whitney Young). Orr is a controversial #1 seed in the tournament. I think the ankle injury to Orr's Tyquan Greer will decide this matchup. Look for Jahlil Okafor to dominate this time: WHITNEY YOUNG BY SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SIMEON (22-2) VS MORGAN PARK(25-2)------ This will be a highly charged matchup because of the post game shoving match the last time they played a couple of weeks ago, which was a Simeon three point victory , then a 17 year old student at Morgan Park was killed outside Chicago State after the game. Also Kyle Davis(Morgan Park) has been talking trash about Jabari Parker(Simeon) in the papers. I think this will not bother Simeon one bit. They have a more disciplined team which will make the difference. I expect Parker to dominate Morgan Park on the interior along with Russell Woods(Simeon). Benches are about even and Morgan Park has the edge in the backcourt. As I said Simeon's discipline and the fact they have won these big games in the city and state over the last two years gives them the edge. Morgan Park will be too jacked up to play with discipline in this game: SIMEON BY EIGHT!!!!!!!!! Well there you have it: I will make my predictions and breakdown of the Final which will be played on Friday. GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!

The movie Django Unchained My Thoughts!!!!
Hello everyone I have just seen the movie "Django Unchained" and I am giving my opinion on it. I will say I enjoyed the movie but I looked at it as just that "a movie". I am more into documentaries since to me there's more fact in them than movies. I see what Tarentino was trying to do, make slavery in the 1800's as real as he could by incessant use of the word"Nigger" in the movie. That's what white people have used among with many other words to degrade us for centuries. Samuel L Jackson's character was real of the "House Nigger" back in those days. I read a piece from the Huffington Post that a former classmate of mine provided. I agree with the article wholeheartedly, the point is the part about white Hollywood trying to tell us what our history is. It's always been that way, whites want to dictate things to us African Americans on their terms only. Hence this is why racism and prejudice will never go away in this country. It was a well written article, but African Americans have to realize we have been brainwashed for centuries by the white man. We have adopted his ways and are a lost tribe, that part of the Nation of Islam I agree with, but I strongly disagree with the other parts of their Cult. The revenge part of this movie I was actually sitting there happy Django was killing those white guys for money. Yes, African Americans do want to kill and have revenge to Caucasians for what their ancestors have done to us. And any White person that says they were not involved with slavery, of course not but you have profited from it. The economic part of slavery the majority of white folks have profited from it over generation after generation, after generation. As African Americans the only revenge we can get on white folks is by educationally(the falls history taught in schools), economically, and educating ourselves as much as possible on OUR HISTORY!!!!!!! I am not saying hate all white folks because that would not be right, but we need to be aware of OUR HISTORY and stop fighting each other. So for me this movie brought out a lot of emotions in me and had some humorous parts believe it or not. To conclude I am glad I went to see it, also Spike Lee may have inadvertently encouraged other folks to go see it. I will take comments for or against what I have typed. This is my rant for today, God Bless everyone and Peace to The Creatures.

Re:Whitney Young Challenging Simeon For State 4A Supremacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy New Year everyone I start this year by saying Whitney Young(Chicago) is looking like a serious challenger to Simeon(Chicago) for the State 4A Title and Chicago Public League Title. So far this season Whitney Young has played very well and looks like a well oiled machine winning the prestigious Beach Ball Classic in South Carolina. The only loss they have suffered is to #1 ranked Montverde Academy(FL) in Overtime. Simeon meanwhile has sputtered through the season with Jabari Parker trying to play his way into shape. They have lost to DeSoto(TX) and was blown out by Montverde Academy(FL) on Saturday. The matchup on January 26th at Chicago State University which will be the matchup of the year and it is to be broadcast on ESPNU. I will say Jabari Parker looks like he's back to his old self now, but Kendrick Nunn is injured now with a bad hip and ankle. This is a preview of the matchup on the 26th of January: GUARDS-Jaylon Tate and Kendrick Nunn(Simeon) vs Austere Madison and Miles Reynolds of Whitney Young: this is where Simeon could get some traction especially if Nunn is healthy this should be advantage Simeon, Tate is a point guard who's headed to Illinois as is his backcourt mate Nunn who hopefully will have his explosiveness back by the time of the big game. Madison does what he is supposed to do, get the ball to the big boys in the paint for Young, Reynolds is a combo guard that is a very good 3 point shooter, Madison's free throw shooting leaves a lot to be desired: ADVANTAGE-SIMEON. FRONTLINE-Kendall Pollard,Jabari Parker, and Russell Woods(Simeon) vs LJ Peak,Paul White,Jahlil Okafor(Whitney Young): Pollard,Parker, and Woods are one of the best front lines in the country with the #1 or #2 player in the country in Parker, but Whitney Young's is actually better with 3 of the Top 50 juniors in the country in Okafor(#1 player in Class of 2014 nationally) who is the best low post player in the country,White, and LJ Peak with his slashing ability. White I thought would have a tough matchup with Parker but he has been playing great defense this season: ADVANTAGE-WHITNEY YOUNG. BENCH- DJ Williams,Edward Morrow,Ricky Norris,Quan Davis(Simeon) vs Joseph Toye,Rodney Herneton Jr(Whitney Young): This is Simeon by a mile, I am being kind in putting Herenton as a top player off the bench this is where Simeon could really put the game in their corner, Simeon has depth at every position but hasn't gotten it together yet: ADVANTAGE-SIMEON. COACHING-Leonard Thomas(Simeon) vs Tyrone Slaughter(Whitney Young): This is not the no brainer that it was before Smtih's suspension and this could make a difference in the game ADVANTAGE-WASH Simeon wins 2 of the categories, but Whitney Young probably has the best starting 5 in the country and Simeon had the overwhelming advantage on the bench before the IHSA rendered 3 of their players ineligible for the season and Quan Davis may not be able to play with a bad cut on his lip. I am hesitant in picking a winner but in conclusion my gut feeling is.................................SIMEON STILL WINS THIS GAME BUT BY A BUCKET, (but I could be wrong lol). This is my rant for today, God Bless everyone and Peace To The Creatures. PS A lot has happened since I wrote this, so there are a lot of changes from my original post hence the RE: . Simeon Coach Robert Smith was suspended 4 games for an incident after the game vs Morgan Park(Chicago),also Donte Ingram,Sean Moore Jr, and Jaycee Hillsman are ineligible for the rest of the season by the IHSA.
