Andrew Wiggins College Decision!!!!!!!

Andrew Wiggins is considered widely the #1 high school prospect in the United States. Also considered the Top Amateur basketball player in the world. He is from Thornhill,Canada just outside of Toronto. He played his high school basketball at Huntington Prep in West Virginia. He is down to four schools: Kentucky,Florida State,Kansas, and North Carolina. He will probably be deciding his college choice in the next week or so. Many people have opinions on where he should go,many have claimed to have "sources" (I am guilty of this also) that know where he's going to school. As for me I think Kentucky would do well with or without him. I will say I think the best school for him is Kentucky. I know people will say we are pretty loaded already, with the best recruiting class in the history of college basketball. This is all true, but I will lay down the reasons he should pick Kentucky(withstanding my bias). 1) Obviously he will get exposure for his BRAND going to Kentucky. Right now John Calipari and Kentucky are a hot item, the "it" school to go to. People who hate Kentucky have to admit this deep down because it's the truth. From my "source" Nike has told Wiggins as much, that going to Kentucky will help his BRAND immensely. 2) Not as much pressure on him: Yeah yeah I know people say, KENTUCKY IS THE ULTIMATE PRESSURE COOKER!!!!!!! Yes it is, but let me explain: he will share the spotlight with the Harrison twins,Julius Randle,James Young and the other McDonald's All-Americans. He will have pressure but it won't all be on him. He can ease into his role and not get double teamed. 3) He will get competition every practice: the practices at Kentucky next season will be better than games. You can't help but to "bring it" every practice or you will sit on the bench. He will be able to improve his weaknesses and have some fun at the same time. 4) Coaching: Coach Calipari is very underrated as a coach, he has helped a lot of guys improve their games and become pros when nobody thought they would: Darius Miller,DeAndre Liggins, Josh Harrelson are great examples. So he will improve. 5) He will be closer to his girlfriend: yes he has a girlfriend in Huntington,WV. Her name is Mychal Johnson, she's one of the Top 25 high school prospect in the Class of 2014, and committed to Notre Dame. Here's a synopsis of her profile on ESPN.COM: http://espn.go.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/player/_/id/139062/mychal-johnson. Huntington is about 90 minutes from Lexington, he can easily go and see her when he gets the chance. and 6) He has a great chance of winning a National Championship and possibly going undefeated( it's kinda farfetched but fun to think about). The talent and just enough experienced players, he has a good chance of leaving a legacy and being a legend in Kentucky forever. There you have it, these should be compelling reasons for him to come to the Bluegrass and be a Kentucky Wildcat. We will see if it happens. If it doesn't I wish the young man the best of success as he seems to be a great kid. GOD BLESS AND PEACE TO THE CREATURES!!!!!!!!
