Rashard Mendenhall's Bin Laden Comments, Amen Brother!!

Rashard Mendenhall is a pro football running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers(my favorite team). He's from Skokie,Illinois the town next to where I live in Evanston. He comes to the same barber shop I do when he's here in the off season. I have talked to him and his brother Walter. They are good people and good Christians folks. He's embroiled in a controversy about comments he made on twitter about Bin Laden's death. Here are some of the comments:  Mendenhall implied a 9/11 conspiracy, writing: “I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style.” And:  “What kind of person celebrates death? It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side…”  He also said and I am paraphrasing: "Why are we celebrating the death of Bin Laden, and how would God feel about that"? I say right on Rashard. People in America can't handle the truth or wrap themselves around the fact that our government orchestrated 9./11. But they can wrap themselves around the American flag. While you might not agree with what Rashard said, he has a right to say it. He's an American and last I checked Freedom of Speech is in that stupid document called "The Constitution". But I guess it doesn't apply to black men or athletes? They lied about weapons of mass destruction, they lied about Sadam being the cause of 9/11. What makes you think the government is not lying about Bin Laden being the cause of 9/11 now? And if they did(which I believe they did) why chase Bin Laden at all? Why waste soldiers lives, American tax payer money, and the sweat and tears of other Americans chasing this guy? And also celebrating Bin Laden's death means you celebrate war. We as Americans bomb other cities from and countries from afar, kill other cultures women and children. Then we have the nerve to call those folks terrorists? Also if you think our government would not kill our own then reference Kent State in 1970. This is where students were staging a peaceful protest and the National Guard opened fire unprovoked. Look it up. How quickly people forget? How quickly people forget? So if you think the United States government would not kill over 3000 people in 9/11 demolition then you are blind as Stevie Wonder. This is my rant for today. God Bless everyone and Peace to the creatures.
